In 1980 our founder, Fred B. Fiske, began a small “pipe covering” shop, specializing in insulation of piping, duct, tanks, and boilers. Over many years and thousands of jobs, Anchor has become one of the largest insulation contractors in New England. Anchor operates from branches in RI, MA and CT. Power plants, schools, freezer facilities, office buildings, hospitals, paper mills, fishing boats, pharmaceutical plants, shipyards, builders, architects, homeowners and more rely on Anchor as a valuable resource for the best insulation and refractory work. We work directly for many commercial and industrial facility owners and managers. Maintenance chiefs, plant managers, and facility engineers have become loyal repeat customers because they know we provide quality workmanship, done safely, on time and within budget. Secondly, we are frequently subcontractors for “commercial work”, hired by HVAC, plumbing and mechanical contractors to insulate their projects. Anchor’s diversification into building and home insulation services brought similar success in a new trade: building insulation. Here we serve two customer bases as well: Homeowners and builders/developers. In residential and building insulation, Anchor’s team installs fiberglass and cellulose insulation in homes and buildings of all sizes. Additionally, as licensed Icynene spray foam dealers, we can insulate and air seal your home or building to dramatically reduce heating and cooling costs. With a long list of very happy customers, Anchor has become one of the nation’s leading spray foam contractors.
